The Top Pay-Per-Call Marketers (2023)

Not Networks...

I often see lists that rank the top Pay Per Call affiliate networks and shine a lot of light on what they do and how they perform. Still, I don’t often see anyone highlight the marketers in these networks, the actual individuals generating the traffic.

Don’t believe me? Well, go and Google “top pay-per-call marketer,” and I guarantee you’ll end up with a list of networks, NOT marketers.

This post may seem self-criticizing as I currently run a pay-per-call agency and network, but I think it’s important to take a second and talk about the people behind the scenes at some of these networks.

DO NOT GET ME WRONG; networks play a huge role in the pay-per-call space since they provide the necessary infrastructure to help grow revenue across the industry.

At PALO, we don’t just grow affiliate partnerships, we do a lot of in-house media buying and understand it’s hard as fu*k to make a campaign turn a profit.

So, it allows us to understand a bit more of what our affiliates go through and how to help them better along with giving them insights into our success and failures.

This is no shot at any network listed on any list; after all, we are listed on a bunch (shameless plug) but more of a content pivot on the industry’s focus.

I’ve had the pleasure of working in the pay-per-call space for the last 13 years and have seen tremendous ups and downs across verticals, campaigns, and different types of partnerships.

Writing that last sentence makes me feel mad old…

Full Disclosure: Many people on this list are my friends; some are people I hope to create relationships with.

Still, I look at what they give back to the industry, their impact on generating campaign traffic, and simply who’s had the legs the last in the space for multiple years. I probably missed some, so please tag them in the comments sections wherever you’re reading this.

Let us jump right in and recognize these great marketers.

PS — most of these guys don’t have a good photo, i’m not that bad at photoshop.

David Quiec, Engine Fish

David’s a long-time friend and CEO of EngineFish. He can look at any campaign and find the wins. From Facebook to search, David has been innovating and scaling campaigns longer than Chipotle has been slinging burrito bowls.

David has also played for the US underwater hockey team and has an MBA from UC Berkeley. He is the founder of Engine Fish.

Ron Hart, Mobile Pushers

Once he finds the tiniest spark, he starts pouring rocket fuel on his campaigns. It doesn’t matter what vertical this dude runs; when he sees the edge, that thing scales to the moon. He is the founder of Mobile Pushers.

Carlos Corona, Unik Media

Few people in the pay-per-call space practice what they preach so transparently than Carlos. His training program at Unik Academy has spawned some of the best marketers I’ve ever seen.

He’s selfless and puts his students and team’s success above his personal goals. These are the types of people who grow the industry.

Carlos also runs some of the best masterminds I’ve ever attended in the space. Make sure you follow him to find the next one.

Justin Elenburg, HitFinity

Ok, let’s talk about the OG’s, the legends, and the veterans for a second. Justin was one of the first pay-per-call marketers in the space. He really paved the way for so many marketers and networks.

When I first stepped into the game, Justin was already an all-star, and I learned a lot from this guy. To this day, he still masters traffic generation and rocks pajamas like no one’s business at our industry events. He is the CEO of Hitfinity.

The Artist Formerly Known as Paul Drakes

Oh man, this guy… Paul is a long-time friend and overall recluse in this game… he probably hates that he’s on this list. ( love you, Paul).

He has literally tried every ad channel you can think of. Every call with him normally goes, “Ya, I’ve tried that, made a bajillion dollars running it.”

He can not only get a visitor to a page and convert them profitably but continues to nurture that user in the long term for an even higher ROI. He knows that building a brand with a user is far more valuable than just converting them initially.

…No way will he’d let me pop his info here so hit up his LinkedIn page.

Muz Abbas, Ultra98

I’ll be honest with you…I don’t know Muz too much as I’ve only worked with him to a small degree, but whenever I talk with people who have worked with him in-depth, they have nothing but acclaim for him.

He’s been in our space behind the scenes for longer than I remember, bringing together a team of ninjas wherever he goes.

Muz and his team can be found over at, Ultra98.

John Casto, E-commerce Wolves

I haven’t known John for too long, but since meeting him, I’ve quickly learned that this dude just gets it. He can teach any willing individual how to scale a campaign with profit, regardless of the campaign.

He is also more knowledgeable than anyone I’ve ever met when it comes to navigating all things Facebook ads. When I talk to John, it’s pure value and no BS. Check out his YouTube channel and let me know what you think.

Leo Kaplan, Premium23

We usually call Leo, Mr. Premium 23. This guy has been teaching and scaling call campaigns for SOOO long.

When he’s not traveling the world, he’s in one of the many mastermind groups scheming up the next rocket to the moon with his ads. Curiosity and creativity are huge attributes of Leo, and I can see them expressed in every conversation I observe with him.

Everything you need to know about Leo is on Premium23.

You?

Don’t be offended if I missed or didn’t mention you! Sometimes, there’s too much good for one list, so maybe round 2 will be around the corner.

I’m just one guy in the space giving my opinion; now let’s hear yours!
